OLYMPIANS EDGE CLOSER WITH WIN, LONDON CITY, SUN DEVILS ALSO SCORE VICTORIES
Darren Tilley opened the scoring for Mississauga Olympians at the 12th minute mark and Paul Kauszewski made it 2-0 seven minutes later. Croatia's Domagoy Sain made it 2-1 after 35 minutes and Joevannie Peart put the game out of reach for the Olympians for a 3-1 score at 69 minutes. The win gives Olympians a 6-2-3 WLT record for 21 points, now just one point back of Toronto Croatia at 6-2-4 for 22 points.
Tommy Kouzmanis and Samuel Hazan were the goalscorers in the Vaughan Sun Devils win, a victory that lifts the Glen Shields pro team from the foot of the Eastern Conference, an improved 3-5-1 for 10 points, while Roma Wolves are at 4-5-4 for 16 points and third place in the west.
Janko Stukic returned to the London City line-up and led his team with two goals in the 3-0 shutout. Eris Tafaj scored the third. London improves to 2-4-5 for 11 points in the west, while Toronto Supra drops back to the bottom position with a 2-3-1 record and seven points in the east.
