Juventus FC has cancelled the visit to Canada of its Primavera youth team which means the game scheduled for Sunday, June 15 against the CPSL�s Brampton Hitmen at Victoria Park, has been cancelled. This follows the earlier announcement by Hamilton Thunder that the game scheduled for Tuesday, June 17 at Brian Timmis Stadium in Hamilton is off.
Juventus Primavera is scheduled to arrive in the United States during the next few days, but due to a requirement by the Italian government that groups visiting Canada with the possibility of SARS contact must be quarantined on return, the club considered these logistics too difficult, given the large contingent of players and officials in the party.
