The opening game of the CPSL season, an Open Canada Cup Preliminary Round clash between two of the strongest amateur teams in Ontario, AEK London and Woodbridge Azzurri, scheduled for Friday night at Cove Road in London,was postponed due to rain.
The AEK London vs. Woodbridge Azzurri opener was one of four Preliminary Round games scheduled for the Victoria Day weekend. The four winning amateur teams will join the 13 pro CPSL teams for the Second Round set for the Canada Day weekend, June27 to 30.
