Two teams, CPSL pro team Vaughan Shooters and G.S. United, an amateur team in Toronto, due to meet in one other Open Canada Cup game, are also still involved after their Round Two game was postponed due to a waterlogged ground at The Soccer Centre in Vaughan on Sunday.
In the two games, both played at Cove Road, London on Sunday, Ottawa St. Anthony Italia shocked Toronto Supra 3-2 to eliminate the CPSL team in a game ended by a Golden Goal overtime winner by Italias Johnny Schieda and Metro Lions eked out a 2-1 win on a goal four minutes from time by Lions forward Hayden Fitzwilliams, the Trinidad and Tobago standout who re-signed for Metro Lions recently on his return from playing in that country.

In Open Canada Cup play on Canada Day, two amateur teams, 777 Soccer Club of Toronto and AEK London, together with Border Stars of the Canadian Professional Soccer League, all won their games.
